Program Unique
Authentic Community Impact
Unlike typical volunteer tourism programs, Wild Bhiza is deeply rooted in the local community. We partner with CARE Victoria Falls Community Animal Health & Welfare Centre and the Jafuta Foundation to create lasting change. Since 2016, our partners have treated over 8,778 animals and delivered 12,000+ rabies vaccinations through 18 annual field campaigns.
Small Group, Personalised Experience
We limit our volunteer program to just 4 participants at a time, ensuring personalized attention, meaningful work, and genuine cultural exchange. You’re not just a number – you’re part of our Wild Bhiza family.
Ethical Horse Care
Our 8 horses are cared for using natural horsemanship methods. We practice bitless riding, prioritise horse welfare, and provide excellent veterinary care. Every horse has a story, and you’ll get to know each one personally.
Qualified, Experienced Team
Learn from our professional instructors and 2 head grooms who bring years of experience in horse care, riding instruction, and community development. Safety and education are our top priorities.
Real African Village Life
Experience authentic rural Zimbabwe – not a staged tourist version. Live in a traditional homestead, eat local food, interact with village families, and participate in daily community life.
